Please don't put AppImages into git repositories but on GitHub Releases.

git is not suitable for large binary files.

Thanks!

Also, where is the source code for fontManager?

And you need to build on the oldest still-supported LTS release of Ubuntu, and test that it works there, too.

And you need to build on the oldest still-supported LTS release of Ubuntu, and test that it works there, too.

The source code is in https://github.com/FontManager/font-manager.git.

This version is for Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.

Then it would be best to publish the AppImage on https://github.com/FontManager/font-manager/releases/tag/0.9.4

In order to be listed, AppImages must run on all still-supported releases of Ubuntu. We don't want to promote AppImages that need the latest and greatest operating system all the time, because not all users update the operating system that often.

The easiest way to achieve this is to build on the oldest still-supported release of Ubuntu.

Any help?

So, here's the recommended course of action:

  1. Build the AppImage on Ubuntu 22.04
  2. Upload it to https://github.com/FontManager/font-manager/releases/tag/0.9.4

Thanks for your consideration.
